Golden Coast Clash is an annual Rainbow Six Siege tournament in San Jose, CA hosted by CollegiateR6. Over the years, it has evolved into the premier collegiate R6 tournament on the West Coast, and this year allowing alumni players & teams to compete, adding more depth to the competition.

For the third iteration of the Golden Coast Clash, I had the opportunity to refresh a majority of the broadcast package and overall creative direction for the event. The goal was to take what worked from the previous year and clean it up to better align with the rest of the Rainbow Six Siege Esports ecosystem.

To further lean into the sun theme of the event, we introduced alternate versions for all graphics and broadcast assets to display mod-broadcast once we entered the afternoon portion of each playday. Alongside the graphics, we also implemented separate music tracks to create a more immersive shift that better fit the event's atmosphere later in the day.
This was the standout addition to this year's event and was highly praised by many viewers and attendees.
